Adopt a Lemur

Lemurs are endemic to Madagascar and are in danger.

In the last 50 years, 80% of the forest in Madagascar has disappeared, putting many of the islands native creatures in danger. We are working with projects on the island to preserve the population of Lemurs. There are 71 different species of Lemur currently identified on Madagascar and here at Trotters World of Animals, we have three species – the Red Ruff Lemur, the Black and White Lemur and the Ring Tailed Lemur made famous in the cartoon film.

As well as experiencing a Lemur Encounter, you can also adopt a Lemur
